LEGAL COUNSEL
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) is looking for a junior or mid-career lawyer to join our team.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful candidate will join the College as Legal Counsel, working with a team of three other lawyers in the legal department.
Reporting to the Director, Legal Affairs and Senior Legal Counsel, the Legal Counsel is responsible for providing legal expertise and support related to the legal needs of the College including discipline investigations, discipline hearings and occasional court applications. It involves a very broad range of legal and non-legal areas including privacy law, legislative and bylaw drafting, policy development, human rights law and employment law.
