In-House Counsel / Litigation Counsel

Nikbakht Law Inc. is seeking an in-house lawyer who is confident, independent, and comfortable representing the firm while managing a litigation-focused practice.

The successful candidate will act as in-house counsel to Nikbakht Law, providing legal services across the firm’s core practice areas and appearing on behalf of the firm where appropriate. This role requires a lawyer who is practical, court-comfortable, and capable of handling files with minimal supervision. The position involves carriage of quasi-criminal and regulatory matters, including traffic and provincial offences, as well as small claims civil litigation in Small Claims Court.The role may also include select Criminal Code matters, limited to summary conviction proceedings, depending on experience and interest.
