CBA Saskatchewan is committed to supporting law students and internationally trained lawyers as they navigate the NCA process and embark on their legal careers. Through mentorship, professional development, and student-focused programming, we provide valuable guidance and resources to help new professionals thrive in Saskatchewan’s legal community.
Each year, we look forward to welcoming new students, helping them build connections, and equipping them with the tools needed to succeed. Whether you're just starting law school or preparing to launch your career in a new country, we're here to support you every step of the way.
You are eligible for student membership if:
- You’re enrolled in undergraduate law studies at a recognized Canadian law school; or
- You are a Canadian citizen studying at a reconized foreign law faculty; or
- You have been accepted to pursue NCA accreditation; or
- You are enrolled in full-time studies required by a law society in order to be called to the Bar in Canada.

Student membership is affordable
Undergraduate law students and students completing the NCA Certificate of Qualification are eligible for complimentary membership.
Participate in Student Focused Events
CBA Saskatchewan offers a variety of engaging opportunities for law students to connect, learn, and grow within the legal community. Some of these events are only open to current College of Law Students.
Access complimentary professional development
Your law student membership gives you complimentary access to nearly 500 PD and networking events through CBA Saskatchewan Sections, which represent various areas of practice and interest. It also automatically enrolls you in the corresponding Law Student Section for your university.
Volunteer opportunities
Make connections with CBA members around Saskatchewan and share your knowledge and skills in areas that matters to you. Law student members can volunteer their time through CBA Saskatchewan committees, Sections and more.
