Make an impact, volunteer with Sections

The success of our Sections relies on the expertise and active contributions of Section executives.

Volunteer opportunities

Section volunteers are the backbone of CBA Saskatchewan, contributing their time, knowledge, leadership, and inspiration to the important work we do every day. Volunteering not only provides meaningful opportunities to make a difference but also allows members to gain valuable experience and build connections across the profession.

No matter your year of call or area of practice, we welcome applications from members in all stages and types of practice to join our vibrant Sections.

Each spring, CBA Saskatchewan Sections recruit new executive officers. Opportunities within Sections may include:

•    Section Chair
•    Vice Chair
•    Legislation & Law Reform Representative
•    Member at Large

Time investment

Volunteering with CBA Saskatchewan Sections is a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to the legal community. On average, volunteers dedicate approximately two hours per month, which includes:

•    Organizing and facilitating up to four Section professional development and networking events annually.
•    Supporting CBA advocacy by contributing feedback or submissions to government, regulators, courts, and other legal community stakeholders.
Monitoring trends, addressing key issues, and creating valuable tools and resources for the benefit of CBA members.

Section executive terms align with the fiscal year, running from September 1 to August 31.
